It makes sense to walk a bit more on the top around the lake. After walking for more than an hour from First , you will then see the beautiful lake. You can look out across Lake Brienz and be inspired by the Hardergrat Ridge on the opposite side of the lake. I agree that its expensive, we had rail passes and we had to pay extra for Jungfraujoch tickets but I would choose it over First if you can afford it. 1h 49m This hike leads over a wide, well-kept path along blooming alpine meadows to the Bachalpsee.
